G Road / Phoenix Elementary School District No. 1

AT EMERSON ELEMENTARY

We’re so excited to be partnering with Phoenix Elementary School District No. 1 for a second year! Our programming coordinators are running unique and engaging after-school programs for 100 students at Emerson Elementary with focuses on arts, athletics, and education.

Through strategic partnerships with other outside organizations, we are bringing additional resources, including health physicals, to the Emerson community, and we look forward to continuing to best support these young people on their road to adulthood.

PAST PROGRAMS

One thing that has made G Road sustainable over the years is our flexibility. Over the summer, we had a great time working with students in our summer program. We’ve also run gardening programs at the Seventh Day Adventist Community Center and the Boys & Girls Club: Gabel Branch, and have wonderful ongoing partnerships with some of our favorite businesses and organizations, including Christian Leadership Academy and Social Television Network, Arizona Worm Farm, and more.
