It all started when…
G Road, founded in 2011, is a Phoenix-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting our community's youth and young adults as they approach adulthood. To achieve this goal, G Road creates and implements targeted programming in the community it aims to serve.
G Road prides itself on its focus on people. The name of the organization represents a subculture of Phoenix’s Historic Coronado Neighborhood, our Founder’s homebase and the center of the area the organization serves. The square of G Road’s logo represents a 4 square miles of zip code 85006, in Downtown Phoenix, where programming is targeted for the youth and emerging adults and the unique challenges they face.
Join us as we work to create a sustainable model that will support the specific needs of the youth in our community. Our goal is to have the surrounding residents, businesses, and committees contributing into the infrastructure of youth development in our targeted area. The G Road community has been underserved for decades. By supporting “The Square”, you allow G Road to provide access to creative programming led by qualified and committed adults. We believe that all kids can succeed, with NO exceptions. Although we can’t control the many factors that challenge our youth, we CAN provide a stable and supportive environment that helps youth develop the balance needed to live rewarding lives.
